Our Services

What is ADAS?

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance System. These safety systems consist of technologies that warn or assist drivers of potentially dangerous situations.

Examples of ADAS technologies include:

-Front/rear facing cameras

-Front/rear bumper sensors and radars

-Surround view cameras

What is ADAS Calibration?

ADAS calibration is the process of detecting and correcting any possible misalignment in the ADAS devices.

If a calibration is needed, a technician will access the vehicle’s computer and realign the proper ADAS device. Depending on the vehicle, it may be necessary for it to be serviced in a shop. In this situation, cameras and sensors are aimed at specialized targets and the vehicle’s computer uses feedback to ensure proper alignment.

ADAS calibration is needed when:

-Cameras, radars, and sensors have been replaced, or removed and reinstalled

-Windshields have been replaced, or removed and reinstalled

-Cameras, radars, and sensors have been impacted, even after a minor fender-bender
